Spray Collars (Masterplus Pro & Aboistop)Yes! Both the Masterplus Pro and the Aboistop have proved very effective for treating dog behaviour problems. However, we cannot guarantee that they will work on absolutely every dog and so we offer a seven day try out period for you to assess the product on your dog. This will be more than enough time to tell if the product is having the desired effect.
If you find that the product is not suitable for your dog within the seven days, return it to us and we will be more than happy to refund your money less the consumable items. Masterplus Pro
Aboistop
No the collars do not hurt at all. They use an inert gas to produce the spray and are completely harmless. The only action the collar has is a spray and no electric shocks or choking. The Aboistop Compact is a smaller version of anti-bark collar and is designed for dogs which weigh less than 8kg. If your dog is particularly small then the collars might be too much for them. The collar weighs about 100g when full with spray so if you are unsure you could try hanging an object of a similar weight around your dog's neck to see how he copes with it.
The Masterplus Pro weighs about the same so the same principle applies. The Masterplus Pro weighs approximately 100g when full and the dimensions are approximately 6cm x 4cm x 3.5cm. Yes it is waterproof to a depth of approximately 1m. Yes, the Masterplus Pro has a an on/off switch so you can leave the battery in when not using it. However, if you do not intend using the collar for prolonged periods of time we recommend that you do take the battery out. It can successfully be used for any problem which can be treated by means of a distraction. Yes the Aboistop is very effective for dogs which bark in the car. It is useful for any situation where your dog is displaying excessive barking. The Aboistop spray is triggered by a microphone and this is configured for the noise of barking. Howling and snarling are different kinds of sound so the spray is not guaranteed to be triggered in these instances.
However, every dog is different so it might be worth trying. We offer a seven day try out period during which you can assess if the collar has the desired effect on your dog. If it does not, you can return the collar to us for a refund less the cost of the consumable items (battery and refill). No it is not waterproof. The unit works by means of a microphone activating the spray so water will enter into the unit at location of the microphone.
